Charles "Charlie" Caldwell, a cherished member of the Ogden community, passed away on January 21, 2909, at the age of 24. Known for his kind and welcoming nature, Charlie was a person who had the remarkable ability to make others feel at ease. His great sense of humor and friendly demeanor left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Charlie led a distinguished career as a marketing manager for XYZ Corporation, where he contributed invaluable expertise for over 15 years. His efforts were instrumental in overseeing several successful product launches, earning him the prestigious Marketing Achievement Award in 2015.
An individual of strong principles, Charlie also dedicated 20 years of his life to serve in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Colonel. His bravery during the Gulf War was recognized with notable honors including the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, symbolizing his courage in combat.
Education was also a significant part of Charlie’s life. He earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from XYZ University, where he was honored with the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award in 2010. This achievement underscored his dedication to personal and professional excellence.
In his personal life, Charlie is survived by his sister, Sarah Johnson, and his brother-in-law, Tom Johnson. He also had a close friendship with Rachel Lee, who will remember him fondly. Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Susan Smith; father, John Smith Sr.; and brother, James Smith.
A memorial service will be held in Charlie’s honor on January 29, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM at Tukios located at 2326 E Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT 84409. There will be a visitation following the memorial service on February 27, 2025, from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the same location. Charlie’s legacy will be remembered by many, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
